Critical thinking is essential in the workplace. Particularly Critical thinking skills required in those employees who are in management. Every where employer want to hire applicants who can “think on their own” and analyse situation at workplace. . Don’t underestimate the value of these skills.
The employers want that Employee must be self-guided, self-disciplined thinking . People who think critically consistently attempt to live rationally, reasonably, emphatically.”
Example
when I was in the interview , The employer ask me for ‘critically evaluate the situation in the financial statement when fire occurred in the factory after closing the year . What would be its effect on current year balance sheet?’
My answer is it is event occurring after balance sheet date and not affecting to the balance sheet at the year end so we will show it in to the notes to account that fire occurred in the factory after closing the year
