Qualification of estate executor  is  generally not too much strict. Most of the states require that  individual executor should be  typically 18 years old ( adult) & he should  be mentally competent.

Some other states also requires  that  executor should  not be  felon &  any corporation appointed for  serving must be duly authorized by state for  handling that probate

  If the institution or  person , name does not meet all  these qualifications, then court will deny such  appointment. If such executor becomes disqualified while his serving, example he is  being convicted for felony, that such event is grounds for the  removal by court.
